MUF Resin Powder

MUF Resin Powder is a thermosetting co-condensed adhesive (CAS 25036-13-9) synthesized from melamine, urea, and formaldehyde, It supplies enhanced bonding strength, waterproof performance, in woodworking and other applications.

🌱 Core Advantages 

• Supply Enhanced High Bonding Strength:
  Forms rigid, crosslinked polymer networks with melamine, creating internal bonds that resist shear forces and mechanical stress—outperforming pure UF resins.
• Excellent Moisture & Hydrolysis Resistance:
  The dense crosslinked structure reduces water penetration and hydrolysis, preventing delamination and bond failure in humid or semi-exterior environments.
• Low Formaldehyde Emission:
  Melamine binds free formaldehyde more tightly than pure UF resins, reducing volatile emissions to meet E0/E1 standards (free formaldehyde ≤0.3%).
• Broad Compatibility:
  Works with all wood types (solid wood, particles, fibers) and compatible with standard hardeners and wood processing equipment.

• Wood-Based Panel Production:
  Moisture-resistant particleboard, MDF, and HDF (for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and humid-area furniture)

Structural plywood and laminated veneer lumber (LVL) for load-bearing constructions

Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and semi-exterior grade composite panels.

• Flooring & Decking:
  Composite wood flooring, engineered hardwood flooring, and decking materials (resistant to spills, moisture, and heavy foot traffic)

Countertop overlays and table tops requiring heat and stain resistance.
