Liquid Defoamer

Liquid defoamer is used to eliminate existing foam and suppress new foam formation in aqueous and partial oil-based industrial systems. Its active components mainly include organosilicon, polyether, mineral oil, fatty acid ester, or composite blends. When defoamer was added to foaming liquid, it penetrates bubble films, reduces local surface tension, breaks bubbles rapidly, and inhibits re-foaming.There are three mainstream categories: silicone liquid defoamer, polyether liquid defoamer, and mineral oil liquid defoamer. Silicone types feature ultra-high defoaming efficiency; polyether types offer excellent high-temperature resistance and no surface defects; mineral oil types are low-cost and widely compatible with non-silicone sensitive systems. It is directly diluted or added neat to liquid production systems, different from powder defoamer which is pre-blended into dry raw materials.

Fully compatible with surfactants, cellulose ethers (CMC, HEC), resins, emulsions, pigments and water-based slurries. Appropriate dosage will not cause flocculation, layering or loss of gloss of finished products.

Well-formulated liquid defoamers leave no insoluble solid residues. They rarely affect film-forming, adhesion, color and strength of coatings, adhesives and mortars.

• Convenient for liquid-phase continuous production

Perfect for fully liquid production workflows such as latex paint manufacturing, textile printing paste, water-based ink and fermentation broth, without extra dry mixing procedures.

Latex interior/exterior paint, water-based industrial coating, waterborne printing ink, wood coating. It eliminates air bubbles generated during stirring and roller brushing, preventing pinholes, craters and sagging on coated surfaces, improving smoothness and gloss.

• Construction Liquid Materials

Liquid waterproof coating, liquid cement slurry, ready-mixed liquid putty, water-based tile glue. Removes trapped air to enhance compactness and anti-cracking performance of construction layers.
